Cardi B Among Other Celebrities That Showed Support For Jay-Z

Cardi B has shown support for rapper Jay Z in the midst of the NFL controversy.

This weekend, TMZ asked for Cardi’s opinion on the situation. She had some very interesting things to say. She said “I feel like he went in there like, ‘If you guys want me to work with y’all, then y’all need to bring my people in there and do things my way.’” When asked about Colin Kaepernick, she said “I feel like Jay-Z could bring back Colin Kaepernick [to the NFL], I feel so, I think he has that power.”

Freddie Gibbs Shows Support

Another musician that has shown support for Hova is Freddie Gibbs. In his Instagram story he informed his fans that he was ”riding with Jay-Z straight up”. He continued to tell people that don’t like Jay’s move to move on and  “let it go”.

In the clip he says “I’m riding with JAY-Z straight up, man. Fuck Colin Kaepernick.” He continues  “All y’all n***as marched for Colin Kaepernick and he took a settlement and they didn’t tell y’all what he got or nothing. He settled, so let it go. Y’all hating on JAY-Z for trying to own something in the NFL, man. Y’all n***as is some motherf***** crabs.”

In a later Instagram clip, he clears up what he said to Colin. Gibbs tried to explain that his ”f*** you” wasn’t supposed to be taken harshly. He said ”I wake up in the morning and tell my best friend ‘F*** you. I think I told my daddy ‘F*** you’ the other day. Don’t be hurt by that. But I mean what I said about that other s***. . . My word is bond. For all you little internet trolls, you can keep tweeting and keep chirping and all that old f***s***. Ain’t nobody gon’ beat my a**.”
