21 Savage granted bond by ICE. He is scheduled to be released Wednesday February 13th. In fact, he was detained on February 3rd by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). 21 Savage whose real name is Sheyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph was arrested for “unlawfully present United Kingdom national”. ICE states he legally entered the United States in July 2005 on a visa. Consequently, they are stating the visa expired a year later.

Targeted Attack
Many are believing that the arrest of 21 Savage was targeted. Meanwhile, during his appearance on “The Tonight Show” he changed his lyrics, seeing that his new lyrics were more controversial. In fact, he expressed problems he was troubled by including the child separation at the border. As a matter of fact, his lyrics were changed to:
“started from the bottom straight from the gutter, so I had to go a lil’
harder/the lights were off, the gas was off, so we had to boil up the
water/ been through some things so I can’t imagine my kids stuck
at the border/ Flint still need water/ people was innocent,
couldn’t get lawyers”
Jay Z Gets a Lawyer
After hearing the news of 21 Savage being arrested by ICE, Jay-Z hired a New York-based attorney to handle the case. As a result, he was hired with the goal of “get him out and figure out what happened. In fact, Jay-Z stated on his Facebook account, “In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately,”
Bond is Granted
As a result, Atlanta Immigration Court granted 21 Savage a release on bond Tuesday, according to his lawyers. 21 Savage said, “He will not forget this ordeal or any of the other fathers, sons, family members, and faceless people he was locked up with or that remain unjustly incarcerated across the country. In addition, he asks for your hearts and minds to be with them.” Moreover, this is in hope that more is done to help repair the immigration system.
